The 8th graders had just finished their Three Kingdoms elite course few days ago. Although I have participated in this elite course three years ago, but this time, it’ very different to me. If you want to say the elite course that best reflects the "class cohesion", I think that the “Three Kingdoms” is the most suitable for this. This is because, although it is only three days, the competitiveness experienced by students stimulates each of them to integrate. I was so gratified three years ago when seeing our class unite together. But I also felt regret that our kingdom failed in getting the champion and hope that we can participate in the elite course once more.  Luckily, at the end of the 10th grade, the school suddenly gave us the opportunity to experience the Three Kingdoms again. Even though I can no longer participate as the role of a student, I did not hesitate in signing up. Before this year’ Three Kingdoms starts, we instructors have been constantly consolidating the practice learnt during the summer training. During this period, we really spent a lot of time and energy so that we can make sure the elite course can be unforgettable for the 8th graders. My biggest gain is probably improving my leadership skills as being an instructor. I also learned how to effectively communicate and execute activities among the other instructors. Beside this, I even learned the strengths from different instructors and learned how to have a tacit understanding between the instructors. The most important thing is that I learned how this kind of activity function and what to do to achieve the effect I want. For example, when punishing students, one person needs to be fierce and strict, while one person should be the nice one comforting the students afterwards; and, occasionally make fun of the instructor who is in charge of being strict so that the students resolve the hate in those serious instructors. These are very helpful to me in the future. For example, when organizing an activity in the student council, it will be  easier to operate; or, for example, when doing my CAS project, I can know what strategies can achieve the learning goals that teachers and I want to achieve.  I used to think that the 8th grade were noisy and childish, but I didn't realize that I had misunderstood them until I participated in this event with them. They might be really naughty sometimes, but they still listen to we instructors. What surprised me even more is that when they found out we were even more tired than them, they will come to us and care about us. This made me feel the care and respect from them for the very first time. Three days are long enough to create friendship between the instructors and students, but it is too short to spend the time throughly with these 8th graders. Although the event was over, but it teaches us a lot. Whether it is the friendship between the students and the instructors or my own growth. I am very grateful to the school for giving me a chance in meeting new friends from the international department since I’m in the IB department. I am grateful to the school for giving me this precious opportunity to re-recognize and change my perception to the 8th graders. I am also very grateful to the school for allowing me to participate in the Three Kingdoms again.
