During these three days of activities, I was responsible for leading the class team assistant. I led the Taizhou 801 class, and compared to other classes, the difficulty of leading the Taizhou class was their unfamiliarity with the etiquette competition and various slogans. At first, we were not aware of this, so when we led the team through six levels on the first day, our etiquette competition score was very low, resulting in us not winning first place, so gradually our morale became increasingly low. At this point, the three of us instructors realized the problem and led them to reflect seriously during the reflection session after the Dance Forest Conference. They also gave me enough respect and listening. After the first day passed, which was our fifth level on the second day, we did particularly well compared to the first day. In the second and third levels, we won two consecutive games, which gradually boosted the morale of our class today. On the third day of the siege, this high mood made them do great on both the attacking and defending sides.
To be honest, after the first day of coaching, I really thought they wouldn't achieve the same results as the next two days, but the fact is that they did. What I need to reflect on is my management methods and attitudes towards different situations in each class, because I have only taught the class in Kangqiao, Kunshan before and haven't taught students from other campuses. For different environments and situations, I should come up with different coping methods. For example, this time, a good method can always make a team move faster and better towards a good result, and I believe it is a kind of strength. Only by having enough confidence in oneself can a team achieve unexpected results. During the three-day activity, the three of us instructors have been encouraging our classmates. Even if they sometimes don't do very well, we will motivate them through encouragement, which makes them do better and better in the future. And when we give them enough confidence, each word of encouragement and comfort may help the team overcome any difficulties, just like some levels of solving knots or using lines to run volleyball to the finish line, which test the team's ability to cooperate and communicate. Although the ball falls every time, a word of comfort and encouragement will definitely help them reach their destination faster, which is better than constantly blaming their teammates. Through these three days of experience, I have also learned how to use different methods to cope with and adjust my mentality. I think mindset is particularly important because a good mindset can help you adapt to the current environment faster and think about problems with a rational state of mind.
